THE CANTINA

This hotel is situated just a couple of minutes from both bus station and from the entrance to the old city.We had two double rooms and had payed a Little extra to get rooms with a view - and we did. It is so Beautiful! The rooms had nice beds, tv and small but good bathrooms.We had breakfast at the hotel. The focus was on cakes, which is no my highest priority early mornings, but the Children were happy. Don't miss the small but nice terrace attatched to the breakfast room. To sit there and enjoy the Lovely view was great.Both check-in and check-out were very efficient, and we got a lot of nice tips from the staff regarding restaurants etcerera.All in all a hotel where we really felt "at home"

well located at the entrance of san marino historical centre. easy parking in an open air public carpark 50 metres away that costs 4. euros per day (a ticket has to be at the tobacco shop next door)the hotel is functional and the decoration rather old fashioned although the maintainance is goodthe receptionist was friendly and efficientdogs are accepted for free when booking via the hotel webpagethe room was a bit small, but had wardrobe and space to open a big suitcase and was clean. the bed was good. there was a safety box (a key is needed) and a minibar with water and soft drinks. the air conditioned worked well. we had a balcony overlooking the old city and the castlethe breakfast included in the room price was a standard continental buffetthe hotel restaurant is closed but the hotel recommended restaurant alli antichi orti (50 metres away) was very goodvalue for money was gooda good choice to spend one night san marino
